The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Chase Tesluck as the recipient of the 2024 Mike Stevens Scholarship.
Chase is the son of Stephanie and the late Jason Tesluck, and is a graduate of Peck High School. While in high school, Chase played baseball all four years in which he received numerous honors. He was also a member of the Sanilac County Youth Advisory Council and was on the honor roll all throughout school. Chase is attending Northwood University and is studying Aftermarket Automotive Management with plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
The Mike Stevens Scholarship was established in 2005, in Mike’s memory, by his family and coworkers at the Sanilac County Department of Health and Human Services. It is available to high school graduating students who have maintained a 2.0 GPA and have been accepted for admission to an accredited college or university. Eligible students must have demonstrated the desire and determination to meet and overcome personal/family challenges or obstacles while achieving his/her educational goals.
