The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Riley Hurley as the recipient of the John & Lila Cook / Peck United Methodist Church 4-H Scholarship for 2024.
Riley Hurley, a graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School, is the daughter of Barbara and Rhett Hurley. During high school, Riley participated in marching band, symphonic band, and theater for all four years. She also took a two-year graphic design course through the Sanilac County Career Center, which inspired her to choose her college major. She is attending Saginaw Valley State University to pursue a major in Graphic Design.
John, Lila, and the Peck United Methodist Church have been longtime supporters of the 4-H community. Their hope is that this scholarship keeps that support and relationship alive for generations to come. Applicants must be an active Sanilac County 4-H member with a 2.5 GPA or greater. 4-H/Community achievements and activities are highly considered.
