The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Riley Hurley, graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School as the recipient of the Holliday Band Scholarship.
Riley Hurley is the daughter of Barbara and Rhett Hurley. During high school, Riley participated in marching band, symphonic band, and theater for all four years. She also took a two year graphic design course through the Sanilac Career Center, which inspired her to choose her college major. Riley is attending Saginaw Valley State University pursuing a degree in Graphic Design.
The Holliday Band Scholarship was established to commemorate the achievements of Julia Holliday, a graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School and an outstanding member of the Cros-Lex High School Band. This scholarship is awarded to a student who is also a graduate of Croswell-Lexington and participated in the high school band.
