The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s 2024 Sandusky High School graduate, Adalee Kaufman as one of the recipients of the David W. and Judith A. Albrecht Family Scholarship.
During high school, Adalee participated in National Honor Society, Youth Advisory Council, Student Council, basketball, volleyball, softball, and the trap teams. She is attending Central Michigan University to study Speech Pathology. Adalee’s parents are Tonya and Kyle Kaufman.
Dave Albrecht, a 1966 graduate of SHS, was a successful businessman for over 30 years, a community volunteer, active in his church, very involved with his family, and a loyal Sandusky fan. Judy was a long-time teacher in Sandusky and remains involved in the community. This scholarship was established to assist graduating seniors from SHS. Those selected exemplify the characteristics of leadership, community service and school spirit while planning to further their education.
