The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Nathen Adamson, graduate of Sandusky High School, has been named the 2024 recipient of the MVP Disc Sports Manufacturing Innovation Scholarship.

Nathen plans to attend St. Clair County Community College for an associates degree in Precision Machining. In high school, during Nathen’s junior and senior years, he was enrolled in the Engineering and Design program at the Sanilac Career Center. He was team captain for the Baja Team during his senior year. Nathen is the son of Ron Adamson.

As a sporting goods manufacturing company, we, MVP Disc Sports, have in-house manufacturing processes that heavily depend on skilled trades in technical areas including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, construction, etc. We feel that there is a growing shortage of these technical skills and that it is very important that we revitalize these skills so that our country can remain competitive in the global manufacturing market.

This scholarship is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation. For more information on scholarship opportunities through the Sanilac County Community Foundation, contact Joshua Robinson, Executive Director, at the Foundation office at 810-648-3634.

For Good. For Ever.
