The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Rhory Boyd is the 2021 recipient of the Bluewater Shore Herb Guild Culinary Scholarship.
Rhory is a graduate of Peck High School. She is the daughter of Tim and Barb Boyd of Croswell. Rhory plans to receive bachelors in Crop and Soil Science while attending Michigan State University. In high school, she was in band, softball and FFA through the Sanilac Career Center. Another organization Rhory was involved in was 4-H; she showed many species during her 10 years of participation.
This Bluewater Shore Herb Guild Culinary Scholarship, established by the Bluewater Shore Herb Guild, is for the benefit of graduating Sanilac County High School seniors. The ideal candidate has intentions for long term interest and application in the field of herbal study and application in our community either through culinary skills or agriculture.
