The Sanilac County Community Foundation announces that Lydia Ulfig, graduate of Sandusky Jr/Sr High School, has been selected as the 2020 recipient of the Mark S. Hund Memorial Scholarship Fund.
During high school, Lydia participated in volleyball, soccer, National Honor Society, Key Club, Academic Games, and YAC. This fall she plans to attend University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), in the College of LSA, online. Lydia is the daughter of Carl and Patty Ulfig of Sandusky.
The Mark S. Hund Memorial Scholarship was established in 1997 in memory of Mark, a long time principal of Sandusky High School. It is awarded annually to a Sandusky High School senior who has shown strength and determination. It is available for any form of career training or education.
