Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipient of the Dave Blank Athletic & Leadership Scholarship is Madysen Jansen.
She is a 2018 graduate of Sandusky High School. During high school Madysen played basketball, softball, and volleyball. She also was a member of the Student Council and National Honor Society. Madysen is the daughter of Matt and Renee Jansen of Sandusky. This fall Madysen plans to attend Saginaw Valley State University to pursue a degree in nursing.
The family of Dave Blank, and Sanilac County Community Foundation, proudly award the annual Dave Blank Athletic and Leadership Scholarship in memory of Dave. Each year this scholarship will be awarded to a student who’s athletic and leadership qualifications, along with their varied volunteer and work experiences, are an embodiment of the life that Dave lived. Dave’s high school experiences in sports and leadership prepared him for a successful team-building career in hiring, managing, and guiding many men and women to meet their potentials and to fulfill successful careers.
