The Sanilac County Community Foundation announce that Noah Bartle, graduate of Sandusky Jr/Sr High School has been selected as the 2017 recipient of the Mark S. Hund Memorial Scholarship Fund.

During high school, Noah participated in many different activities including football, track, the flag project, and even helped write a grant to install new water bottle filling stations across the school.  Noah’s parents are Dave and Claudia Moore, and Arthur Bartle.

Noah plans to attend Saint Clair County Community College his first year and transfer to Grand Rapids Community College and finish up at Grand Valley to get a degree in education.

 

The Mark S. Hund Memorial Scholarship was established in 1997 in memory of Mark, a long time principal of Sandusky High School.  It is awarded annually to a Sandusky High School senior who has shown strength and determination.  It is available for any form of career training or education.
