The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Bryce Reinke as the 2025 recipient of the Sheila Olbrich Fine Arts Scholarship.
Bryce Reinke, son of Jamie and Anthony Reinke, is a graduate of Sandusky High School. During high school, he was involved in Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Pep Band, Sanilac County Band and Honors Band. He was also a member of Key Club, National Honor Society, Student Council and was on the cross country and track and field teams. Bryce is attending Michigan State University studying Music Education and will be a member of the MSU Spartan Marching Band.
The Sheila Olbrich Fine Arts Scholarship was established by Lena Olbrich, in memory of her daughter, Sheila—a 1980 Sandusky High School graduate and passionate advocate for the arts. After studying drama at the University of Michigan and traveling, she returned to Sandusky to grow the middle school drama program and serve as Director of the high school drama club. Sheila believed in giving all students, especially those not in sports, a creative outlet. This scholarship supports SHS students who share that passion and have participated in fine arts during high school, with the goal of continuing their education in a related field.
This scholarship is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation (SCCF). For more information on scholarship opportunities, visit www.SanilacFoundation.org or contact the Community Foundation office at 810-648-3634.
