The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Natalie Lefler as the 2025 recipient of the Robert Kenneth & Janette Grace Knight Scholarship.
Natalie Lefler, daughter of Dave and Kim Lefler, graduated from Marlette High School as the Class of 2025 Salutatorian. During high school, she participated in band, FFA, National Honor Society, Student Council, and varsity soccer, earning many awards in these activities. She also attended the Biotechnology Program at the Sanilac Career Center and earned her Class-A CDL. Natalie is attending Northern Michigan University pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.
The Robert Kenneth & Janette Grace Knight Scholarship was established thanks to the incredible generosity of the Robert Kenneth & Janette Grace Knight Estate and was gifted to Marlette Community Schools. This scholarship fund will provide financial assistance to deserving Marlette High School graduates who are looking to further their education, helping them take the next step toward their goals. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Knight are remembered for their generosity and dedication to the future of Marlette’s youth.
