The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Lia Schemanske and Sawyer Kerr as the 2025 recipients of the Peck Booster Scholarship.
Lia Schemanske is the daughter of Jessica Royle and James Schemanske. During high school, she played volleyball and basketball, spending most of her free time with her friends and teammates. She was also a member of Student Council and National Honor Society where she served as the secretary. Lia is attending St. Clair County Community College with plans to enter their Radiologic Technology Program.
Sawyer Kerr is the daughter of Bill and Leann Kerr. In high school, she was involved in National Honor Society, Youth Advisory Council, Student Council, volleyball, and basketball. Sawyer is attending Paul Mitchell the School Great Lakes to obtain her cosmetology license.
The Peck Booster Scholarship was established to recognize Peck High School graduating seniors who have demonstrated exceptional citizenship, community service, self-responsibility and an appreciation for Peck High School.
