The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Christina Seghi as one of the 2024 recipients of the Fred Cady Scholarship.
Christina is the daughter of David and Karen Seghi and a graduate of Croswell-Lexington High School where she graduated with a 4.1 GPA and as a Senior Scholar. During high school, Christina was involved in Student Council, Class of 2024 Executive Board, National Honor Society, Students Against Destructive Decisions, and Sanilac County Youth Advisory Council. She was also part of the Art Club, Prom Committee, Varsity Track and Field, and attended the Graphic Communications Program through the Career Center. Chirstina is attending Michigan State University pursuing a degree in Graphic Design.
The Fred Cady Scholarship Fund was established in September of 1998 by the Sanilac County Association of School Boards to honor Fred Cady, who retired after 22 years as an educator and administrator in Sanilac County. This scholarship is awarded annually for the educational needs of Sanilac County students.
