The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce Adalee Kaufman as one of the recipients of the 2024 Mark S. Hund Memorial Scholarship.
Adalee is the daughter of Tonya and Kyle Kaufman and a graduate of Sandusky High School. During high school, Adalee participated in National Honor Society, Youth Advisory Council, Student Council, basketball, volleyball, softball, and the trap team. She is attending Central Michigan University studying Speech Pathology.
The Mark S. Hund Memorial Scholarship was established in 1997 in memory of Mr. Mark Hund, a long-time principal of Sandusky High School. It is awarded to a Sandusky High School senior who has shown strength and determination. It is available to students pursuing any type of post-secondary education.
