The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce one of this year’s 2023 Sandusky High School graduates, Sarah Leen as the recipient of the Doug and Rose Banker Scholarship.
Sarah plans to attend Alma College to pursue a degree in nursing. During high school, she was involved in volleyball, National Honors Society, Key Club and student council. She also participated in the Careers in Education program and the Health Occupations Program at the Sanilac Career Center. Sarah is the daughter of Cindy Leen and James Leen.
The Douglas and Rose Banker scholarship was established by the Bankers in support of a Sandusky High School Graduate pursuing post-secondary education. Doug and Rose have been long-time residents and involved community members in Sandusky. Their hope is that this fund inspires and encourages local graduates to pursue their educational goals.
