The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce this year’s 2023 Sandusky High School graduate, Kory Lambson as the recipient of the David W. and Judith A. Albrecht Family Scholarship.
During high school, Kory participated in Football and Wrestling which he was the captain of and was also a catcher on the baseball team. His parents are Sheila and Rick Lambson. Kory plans to attend Saginaw Valley State University to major in Pre-Physical Therapy/Exercise Science.
Dave Albrecht, a 1966 graduate of SHS, was a successful businessman for over 30 years, a community volunteer, active in his church, very involved with his family, and a loyal Sandusky fan. Judy was a long-time teacher in Sandusky and remains involved in the community. This scholarship was established to assist graduating seniors from SHS. Those selected exemplify the characteristics of leadership, community service and school spirit while planning to further their education.
