Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that this year’s recipient of the Joshua Ross Memorial Scholarship is Devyn Gordon.

Devyn is a 2019 graduate of Croswell – Lexington High School, where she graduated at the very top of her class as a Senior Scholar, National Honor Society President, and active member in the school’s Student Council and Executive Board.  She also was a three sport athlete all four years of high school, participating in volleyball, basketball, and softball.  Devyn earned many awards as an athlete, including all-league, all-county, all-region, and all-state accolades.  She will be attending Michigan State University this fall, where she will be a part of the Honors College, James Madison Residential College, and Division 1 Rowing Team, pursuing a pre-law degree. Devyn is the daughter of David and Katie Gordon of Croswell.

The Joshua Ross Memorial Scholarship was started in December of 1998 in memory of Joshua Ross, a Brown City High School senior.  He was active and involved in his community.  This scholarship is given annually to a student that reflects the character and interests of Josh.  It is administered through the Sanilac County Community Foundation.
