Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce, Kobie Down, graduate of Carsonville Port Sanilac High School and is currently attending St. Clair County Community College, is this year’s recipient of the SC4 Scholarship for 2021.

Kobie is pursuing a career in respiratory therapy and has already finished all of his prerequisites. In high school, he participated in National Honor Society, Student Council, and 4-H. In his free time, he enjoys shooting archery and Kobie was lucky enough to place first in our county and second at the state shoot. Kobie is the son of Roger and Jammie Sampier and Mike and Bobbi Down.

The SC4 scholarship is designated for a Sanilac County resident who plans to attend St. Clair County Community College to pursue their post-secondary education.
