The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that Madelyn Day and Julie Hedges, graduates of Croswell – Lexington High School, are this year’s recipients of the Gielow Pickles Scholarship.

Madelyn is the daughter of Melody Day and Roc Day.  She was on the Cros-Lex’s girls varsity power lifting team all four years. Madelyn was also a member of the National Honor Society and she has participated in girl scouts for the past ten years.  This fall Madelyn plans to attend St. Clair County Community College then transferring to Ferris State University to study criminal justice.

 

 

 

Julie plans to attend St. Clair County Community College and Michigan State University James Madison to study law and political science.

This scholarship is administered in partnership with Gielow Pickles through the Sanilac County Community Foundation.
