The Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that the Marvin Longuski Scholarship recipient is Aubyrn Rae VanConant.

Aubyrn is the daughter of Jeff and Tina VanConant of Croswell. She was the 2019 Peck High School Salutatorian and graduated with a 3.99 gpa.  Active in FFA, Quiz Bowl, Softball, Track, Volleyball, Basketball, and Cheerleading.  Sanilac FFA Chapter Secretary for two years and Sanilac FFA State Delegate.  Volunteers with the National Honor Society, Lunch Buddies, Corn Maze for Cancer, Project Red, Walk for Warmth, and the Committee for Fallen Riders.  In the fall she will attend Delta College for Science then transfer to Saginaw Valley State University for her bachelors degree in pre-veterinary science and the ultimate goal of attending graduate school for Veterinary Medicine.

The family of Marvin Longuski, long time educator, member of the Peck School Board and respected community leader, established this scholarship in cooperation with the Village of Peck, to honor his memory.
