Sanilac County Community Foundation is pleased to announce that John Dorman, 2018 graduate of Sandusky High School, has been named the recipient of the Kevin M. Pearce Memorial Scholarship.
John is the son of Jack and Anna (Lopez) Dorman of Snover. John attends Delta Community College and plans to pursue a certificate in Computer Numerical Control (CNC). While at Sandusky High School, John was involved in bowling and baseball.
The Kevin Pearce Scholarship was established in 2001 in Kevin’s memory by his family to give students a chance to achieve, and to inspire the generations to follow. Kevin, a 1985 graduate of Sandusky High School, passed away on January 24 of 2001. He is remembered as an incredible person and friend who always “set the bar” higher for himself and always inspired others to achieve.
